Christina Twomey Art + Design Hired to Create Wall-Sized Triptych for Minneapolis-Based Tech & Creative Agency, Humdinger and Sons
We're so excited to announce we've just been commissioned to develop a massive wall-sized triptych for the Minneapolis North Loop creative factory, Humdinger and Sons, lead by Founder & ECD Nicolas Will along with Founder & Managing Partner Andrew Berg.
I'm especially excited about developing this piece because it marries well with my personal design style, urban-industrial; merging distressed elements with earth's natural materials & colors. Humdinger's prime downtown Minneapolis location is in the heart of the North Loop in a fabulously renovated brick & concrete warehouse space - so this statement art-piece will only add to the cool urban-story of their loft-style space.
Humdinger and Sons has been involved in numerous ground-breaking creative campaigns & development of tech-inspired products across the globe for companies such as: Adidas, Siemens, Target, TiVo, Netgear, Presently, the country of Belize, Tethr, Alchemy, Arlo, Lewk, Brave, Nisho, Jimu App, Amana, Ilumi, Astropad, Equil, United Heroes League, 3Bays, Friday Smartlock, and more. Make sure to check them out via their details below.

The Mayhew Inn is located in the heart of downtown Grand Marais. The views of the harbor and bluffs along The Gunflint Trail are incomparable and are visible from the expansive rooftop decks. The Mayhew Inn is the perfect home base for enjoying the restaurants and shops in downtown Grand Marais and are all within walking distance. Enjoy day trips to Lutsen Mountain, National Parks for hiking or cross-country skiing, or up The Gunflint Trail. All are a short drive from The Mayhew Inn.
The 6 individual units that make up The Mayhew Inn are uniquely designed and built to be modular. Add to that common spaces that can be shared with larger groups, or experienced alone. The Lobby has a cozy fireplace, comfy seating for lounging, and a non-production bar with an icemaker for guests to enjoy. Entertainment opportunities in The Lobby include games for all ages, a turntable with vinyl from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and beyond as well as a large screen TV. The "Dragon Lounge" faces a majestic outdoor fireplace with a brick pizza oven. This cozy lounge is the perfect place for happy hour or a memorable nightcap.
Although The Mayhew Inn is downtown on the harbor front, it is graced with gorgeous secluded backyard courtyards and rooftop decks with breathtaking views. There are several grills on site for family BBQ’s when you aren’t enjoying all of the amazing restaurants that downtown Grand Marais has to offer. Then end your evening stargazing around the backyard fireplace.
Every day at The Mayhew Inn is magical, whether it is sunny, brisk or blustery. Nature’s year-round magic unfolds right in front of you over the greatest of lakes, Lake Superior.
