We're so grateful to Joel & Amy, the owners of The Mayhew, for commissioning us to create this artwork for their incredible boutique hotel in Grand Marais, MN.

The "Dragon Lounge" faces a majestic outdoor fireplace with a brick pizza oven. This cozy lounge is the perfect place for happy hour or a memorable nightcap. Although The Mayhew Inn is downtown on the harbor front, it is graced with gorgeous secluded backyard courtyards and rooftop decks with breathtaking views. There are several grills on site for family BBQ’s when you aren’t enjoying all of the amazing restaurants that downtown Grand Marais has to offer. We are absolutely thrilled to present our newest commission, 'MEADOW,' which we just completed for new collectors in Minneapolis, MN thanks to top-designer Hayley Schlueter at Martha O'Hara Interiors (www.OHaraInteriors.com). This artwork consists of 15 meticulous layers combining hues of gorgeous blues and purples, which when all together, remind me of a beautiful spring meadow full of flowers. We hope you enjoy! 'BIG SUR' (48x36 acrylic on canvas) has a very special story. This artwork was created to represent my engagement to my husband, business partner and love of my life. He proposed to me on a camping trip to Big Sur at 2am in the morning, as he surprised me while bathing at a natural hot spring carved into a cliff at the ESALEN retreat property. It was absolutely surreal to say the least and something I will never forget. In fact, it was one of the best nights of my life - only second to our wedding weekend. And now - we get to share all the emotions that went into making this representation of our love. 'BIG SUR' will be traveling today to its new home in Minneapolis, MN to one of our top collectors - and, as an added bonus, Minneapolis is where Bobby and I met originally nearly 8 years ago, so there is definitely great synergy there. 'BIG SUR' was also proudly featured in Netflix's 'To The Bone' marketing spots featuring Lily Collins & crew in 2017.  We are excited to announce that we delivered the second of two works commissioned by our client and good friend Patrik! He has a BEAUTIFUL home in Rancho Palos Verdes and is so happy with how everything looks. We had the opportunity to consult with Patrik before furniture was ordered about style and color palettes. From there - we created two original 8' x 4' resin/acrylic works that serve as statement pieces, while complementing overall home decor. The production timeline from consulting to final delivery was six weeks and we loved every minute of it!   We are thrilled to announce our art classes are open for business and we'd like to take this opportunity to highlight our current student - Celebrity Stylist & Makeup Artist Lisa Morgan. We started class this past weekend and are working on a geode table top that will feature a resin finish and lots of crystals to make it sparkle. Our first session was an amazing learning experience for both of us, and I cannot wait for our next class this upcoming weekend. Stay tuned for more updates...
