MAKE YOUR OWN DRIFTWOOD + AMETHYST RESIN GEODE in our 1-class course, taught in my home studio in Laurel Canyon or on location. This class is perfect for HR Departments looking to treat their employees to a fun, creative, team-building experience!
$150/person includes 1 class (students can go at their own pace - between 2-4 hours). All materials and required tools are provided which include resin, crystals, paints, pigments, glitters, brushes, glue guns and driftwood selections.
1st Class: Students will receive a basic overview of how resin works, along with a tutorial about all the other materials we will explore and use during class, such as: amethyst crystals, glue guns, pigments, acrylic paints, metallic flakes, glitters, and more.
During this class, we will outline our designs and then affix our amethyst crystals to our driftwood. Next, we will select our color & glitter palate and hand-paint parts of the driftwood the student wants to be illumined. Once the painting is complete, students will mix their resin together and apply to the driftwood and stones.
After pouring resin, please allow a minimum of 24 hours before touching (gently) your work piece. It is recommended to allow 48 hours minimum before taking your artwork home, to ensure the resin has completely cured and is safe to handle.
NOTE: Must wait 24 hrs after the final class to pick-up artwork, as the resin needs to completely cure & harden. The following day after class, you'll be able to pick up your finished artwork!
